This trail starts from the gate, follows the trail to the mountain for a distance of 3km and begins climbing. This road is 10km long, safe and easy to travel, it takes about 2 hours to reach the top.
The stream route requires your professional climbing experience
The forest path along the streams will start from the Nui Bau Lake, and follow the path of the tea fields down to the stream. Then follow the stream bed to move to the top of the mountain.
This route is suitable for those who like the feeling of adventure and conquest. The climbing time is shorter, about 3 and a half hours. However, you should not go this way during the rainy or wet season, because the road is slippery and very dangerous.

Ba Vi National Park is also a perfect place for scenic hiking with the 1,296 meter high Ba Vi mountain. This location is located about 60km west of Hanoi center. Ba Vi Peak has 3 main peaks: Van Son Peak (1,296m), Tan Vien Peak (1,227m) and Bau Thap Peak (1,120m).

To reach the top of Tan Vien, you have to climb through about 500 stone steps. This road is built of natural stone forming steep steps. You do not need too much climbing skills but you need to have good health to complete the path.
You can start from the entrance gate to conquer the mountain peak, this distance takes about 4 to 6 hours. If you have more time and want to go through the forest, you can start from Mo village. This distance will take about 7 to 8 hours.
