The Global Holiday Costs Barometer from the Post Office, a leading financial company in the UK, published annually in March, indicates that Hoi An is the most affordable long-haul destination for holidays in 2024. This is the first time Hoi An has topped the list in the 18 years of the ranking’s publication, moving up from sixth place last year.

Meanwhile, tourists in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, must spend 200 USD for similar items. Prices in Tamarindo have increased by 13% compared to last year."
