On September 10th, Graham Cooke arrived in Hanoi to present the awards and certificates for three tourism categories. This year, Hanoi secured three top accolades in the Asian region from the WTA: “Asia’s Leading City Destination,” “Asia’s Leading City Break Destination,” and “Vietnam’s Leading City Cultural Destination.” It’s the third consecutive year that Hanoi has won the award for Asia’s Leading City Destination and the second consecutive year for the City Break Destination.

These three awards were part of the 31st World Travel Awards for the Asia and Oceania region, which were announced in Manila, Philippines, on September 4th. In addition to Hanoi, several other destinations in Vietnam were also honored by the WTA in various categories, including Ha Giang, Moc Chau, Ha Nam, Quang Nam, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh City.
