The neighboring Silver Pagoda is striking in its own right. The floor is paved with 5,329 solid silver tiles, from which the building takes its name. The building houses many gold and precious stone Buddha statues, including the highly prized 17th-century Baccarat crystal Buddha.
Other important buildings within the complex include Wat Preah Keo Morokat, where royal ceremonies take place, and stupas such as the King Ang Doung Stupa – the burial place of the former King Norodom.

Afternoon:

After lunch and break time, we will visit Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire with its centerpiece; the Bayon temple. As you approach, you will notice the enigmatic faces of former King Jayavarman VII looking in every direction.  Overnight in Siem Reap Hotel

 Breakfast, Lunch

Morning:

Drive to Beng Lealea, which was built in the 12 century, the layout and style of Beng Mealea are very similar to Angkor Wt. Its current state, however, is dominated by jungle. Trees have grown out of the towers and vines entangle columns. Lintels and other building blocks lay around in a tumble and require visitors to climb up and down as they approach the completely collapsed central towers. This is how the early expeditions must have found the temples of Angkor…

Afternoon:

Lunch box at the site. We then continue to Kompong Khleang and enjoy a boat cruise on the Kompong Khleang Floating Village at Tonle Sap Lake where you will meet the local life in the rural. Kampong Khleang located on the northern lake edge about 48km east of Siem Reap town, is a more remote, and less-touristic place.

A join-in group tour is such a good idea

I couldn't believe it at such an affordable price I experienced the package journey of exploring Vietnam. The tour guide was enthusiastic and professional. Some traditional dishes are prepared simply but tasty and very worth trying. When I arrived in Sapa, I was surprised by the colorful costumes of ethnic minorities. You can rent this cloth set at a cheap price.

Highly recommend New Asia Tours and do Vietnam trip again

I am pretty impressed with the Cu Chi Tunnels. I had a chance to explore the network of these underground paths. Although these tunnels were renovated larger for foreigners, they were relatively small. Moreover, in tunnels, there is little air so it may not be suitable for some people with respiratory diseases. Anyway, it was an amazing experience that I want to try again when I come to Vietnam on my next vacation.
