Brief overview of Kelingking Beach

Kelingking Beach is located in the village of Bunga Mekar, on the southwestern shore of Nusa Penida island. In the local language, Kelingking means "little finger". In fact, it was shaped like a dinosaur basking in the bright morning sun. Located between the limestone cliffs, you can see the long stretch of smooth white sand, cool blue water along with the flora on the island and the deep blue of the vast ocean.

The beach is also a place especially suitable for those who like the peace, tranquility with the slow pace of life to be immersed in the pristine beauty. Standing on a limestone mountain, you can take very beautiful wide-angle photos. Then you walk about 400m along the mountain slope down the beach. This road will have a protective railing but you still need to be careful step by step.

Best Time to Visit Kelingking Beach

The ideal time to travel to Indonesia and visit Kelingking Beach is from April to September. During this period, the weather is pleasant with minimal rainfall and calm sea, making it an ideal time for outdoor exploration and water activities. To avoid the peak hours of 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, I suggest you visit around 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM. If you plan to enjoy the sunset scenery, it would be a suitable time.
