  • At 7.45 am, pick up at hotel and the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975 .
  • Visit Dame Cathedral, the Old Central Post Office.
  • Continue to Chinatown, Thien Hau pagodas, which is dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea.
  • Observe street life through the narrow streets to Binh Tay market that sells everything from clothes to dried squid.
  • Have Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to visit War Remnants Museum where there is a vast display of the both the Indochina wars people.
  • End up with Ben Thanh market

  • Today we will have an excursion to Mekong Delta. We will Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda,
  • one of the Mekong Delta's most beautiful Buddhism pagodas. Then take a boat ride down
  • the river and see stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages.
  • Having lunch in the orchard garden on the Tortoise islet. Then take another boat to An Khanh village, a less touristy spot in Ben Tre.
  • Cruise down natural canals on a hand-rowed sampan.
  • Listening to some sweet “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the locals.
  • Hop on the bus and return to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

A great introduction to Vietnam and Bali

I must say it was an unforgettable experience. This is my first time in Vietnam and Bali. The tour was well-organized by New Asia Tours and their staff. The transition between cities and countries was seamless.  The tropical cuisine was a delightful surprise. This tour showed the essence of both countries, and I'm grateful to New Asia Tours for making this journey so special.
