Bánh rán or Bánh cam is a light snack, commonly sold on the streets. The cake shell is made from glutinous rice flour and the filling is mashed green beans mixed with sugar and then deep-fried.

Bánh khọt is round, made from thin rice batter, the size of a palm, and poured into a special mold. After the batter is poured into the mold, it is topped with various fillings such as shrimp, meat, or seafood. When eating, diners wrap the cake in lettuce leaves with herbs.
