At the 53rd spot, we find the lẩu cá nấu cùng bông điên điển (snakehead fish hot pot with Dien Dien flowers). Although the exact rating isn’t disclosed (dishes beyond the top 35 aren’t assigned star ratings), this dish still receives accolades from many diners for its delightful aroma and taste. A renowned specialty from the Dong Thap province during the floating season, this hotpot features snakehead fish—a local freshwater species—paired with the unique flavor of Dien Dien flowers. These flowers are blanched to retain their crispness and distinctive taste. The broth includes coconut water, young tamarind, and is complemented by water mimosa and other fragrant herbs.
