Vietnamese canh chua ca
The criteria for the survey are based on taste, popularity, reaching from 3.5 out of 5 stars or more and ignoring the regional bias. The list is intended to help countries promote their local delicacies, arouse pride in their traditional dishes and curiosity about the dishes that you have never tried.
“The phrase canh chua ca is used to describe many types of soup made from fish in Vietnam with a distinctive flavor of sweet, spicy and sour”, the famous culinary website commented. The broth is cooked with tamarind, pineapple, tomato, okra, bean sprouts or other vegetables and catfish, carp, mackerel or snakehead fish. The soup is served with herbs and rice.
Vietnamese ca kho to
Ca kho to is a dish made from fish that is simmered in a traditional clay pot. The fish used for this dish is usually snakehead or catfish, cooked with seasonings such as fish sauce, caramel sauce, and sliced green onion. Ca kho to is eaten with rice and often accompanied by a bowl of canh chua ca.
